Product description

Excellent accessory for your iPhone 3G or Ipod Touch. Lightweight stylus allows for smooth damage-free navigation across touchscreen! Same technology as other sytlus that retail for $20! Rubber angled tip provides enough contact with screen to allow proper electrocurrent flow to replicate the use of your finger on the touchscreen. Best for typing and selecting rather than "dragging". To use properly, place entire flat edge of angled side, not just the tip of the angle, on the trouchscreen. Item wll not function proplerly if entire angled edge is not making full contact with the screen. Item comes with "pen clip" so that you do not lose it. Great accessory for your Iphone 3G or Ipod touch. Black color available (search Amazon for B001BSBVNA)

« Bad Seller »
Product never delivered; No tracking number; Seller unapologetic and dismissive - "should be there any day" after waiting 14 days! Money refunded but what's the point of trying to buy from this Seller if they can't deliver?

Buyer Beware!
First, this was advertised as a new product. When it came to me it was just in a padded envelope with no packaging around the stylus, and no invoice. It has wear marks and scuffs all over the metallic portion of the stylus. I own an iPhone 3Gs. This product was very ineffective. It has a slanted rubber tip at the end which is not conducive to the touch pad. In order to make it work, I had to press very firmly, and try to place the entire surface of the tip on the screen. Needless to say, the slant made that more difficult. When I attempted to use the number pad to remove the lock on my phone, it was hit or miss as far as getting the correct numbers to activate. I have a case which has a screen protector, and I thought maybe that was interfering, but even when I removed the screen protector it still didn't perform. Anyone who has difficulty with the keypad who is hoping this little item will make things quicker and more accurate, forget about it. Any hope of selecting and dragging pages, items, etc. is useless. I'm trying out a different type of stylus in the hopes it will work better. Stay away from this item. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

« yet to find a stylus that works well with iPhone »
i think the iphone was never designed to work with a stylus. they WANT you to use your finger. this stylus is just plain bad. there's no better way to put it. if all you want to do is push things (icons, letters, etc) then it's OK (but no better then my finger really). if you want it to replace your finger, then forget it. the stylus will not SLIDE they way your finger will. the tip of this thing is essentially made of rubber which, uh, well, rubber doesn't slide if you know what i mean.

bottom line: don't waste your money on this thing, even if it is only $1 or $2 or $3. it's not worth carrying this thing around for 1/2 of 1% of the time that the thing might be useful for something other then picking your nose.

« Works as described »
This stylus seems a little cheaper in person than in the picture, but it does work. It is basically a hollow metal cylinder with a plastic clip at the top and a slanted rubber tip at the bottom. The tip is somewhat large, larger around than a #2 pencil eraser, but there is a reason for that. I tried using just the edge of the tip but that doesn't work, you have to use the bottom flat surface. Apparently the iPhone/iPod Touch needs a certain amount of contact area on the touchscreen for the touch to register. I had also previously tried the stylus from a Nintendo DS and a mobile phone, both had small tips and neither worked on the iPod Touch.

I think my text entry is better with this stylus, and it's great for games like Blowfish where your hand gets in the way of the screen when you're playing. For the price it is a good value.

« Not even worth the $2 »
I just received the pen - it is completely and utterly worthless. I can get it to work, but not easily and it's more trouble to use than the benefit. I'd return it, but for the price - why? The best I can do is warn others.
