The recessed headphone port on the iPhone prevents many standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks from fitting the device properly. With this headphone adapter, you can be guaranteed that all headphones will work with your device, regardless of the brand.

Horrible sound, not compatible
»
I tried this little adaptor in my iphone 3G to connect headphones, looks like it is going to work but once you try it you realize the sound quality is horrible, it is not the same sound you would get with the original iphone cable. Don't buy it you will be wasting your money and time.

Great adapter for iPhone
»
I have a Belkin adapter that is hard rubber and not flexible at all which pulls out of my phone every time I put it in my pocket. This adapter however has a small jack with a flexible cord about 4" long so it doesn't become an antenna like extension off your phone. A great buy and the price is just right.

Essential accessory
»
Although it is absolutely disgusting that you should need to buy anything like this in the first place - Apple should be ashamed - this adaptor does the job perfectly. I can now watch movies on my iphone during longhaul flights and use my excellent noise-cancelling Bose headphones.
