    « Please don't waste your money »
I have purchased several Plantronics units in the past and found the quality to be satisfactory within sound and style, leaving me willing to countinue to buy from the company, until the Voyager 855.
I found the Voyager 855 to be poorly designed and very uncomfortable and unstable when placed in the ear. Flimsy and made of poor quality and not to forget about the sound quality. The sound was muffled and even with the units volume turned on high you still had a hard time hearing.

« Just what I was looking for »
In short, I love this bluetooth earpiece. After trying 3 or 4 different models at my local big and wifi stores, and founding none to my liking, I ordered this one and have been using it happily for the last week.

The earpiece is nice and comfortable, and includes an over the ear holder for extra support. My girlfriend, whom had objected to the call quality on all the previous headsets I tried, says this one is much better (even when I forget to lower the mic).

The only minor annoyance is that you can't connect it to multiple devices simultaneously, but re-pair/connecting it isn't really that much of a big deal for me - in fact I somewhat like having to fiddle a bit to do it, because it means I don't do it accidentally as I did on certain headsets like the jabra stone.

Perfect headset if you are looking for good call quality and discreet music support. I can now listen to music at work all the time (without the second ear attachment), and no one raises an eyebrow :-)

« Great for podcasts and audio books, OK for music and phone calls »
I've been using my headset for four months now and have loved it. I typically use it for listening to podcasts and audio books while I'm working, and for that purpose, it works wonderfully. I've heard the sound quality isn't so great for music, but to be honest, my hearing isn't sharp enough to tell where it's lacking.

My only complaints are with actual phone calls. I've heard from people I've called that it picks up a lot more wind and background noise that my old Voyager 510 did. There also seems to be a bit of a delay (less than 1/4th of a second) between when I start speaking, and when the mic starts picking me up. It's fine if I take the time to speak clearly, but tends miss short, one word replies completely.

« A Great Convertable (Stereo or Mono) Headset »
I've owned two of these. The first one lasted nearly 2 years of daily use even though I often dropped or smashed it. It took a little while for me to figure out which ear piece fit most comfortably, but once I did I was able to wear the headset all day without it irritating my ear. I love the abiltiy to switch to stereo without having to pair a different device. The sound, while not being a full or loud as a corded headset, is good. The controls are easy and intuitive. Unless something better hits the market, I intend to purchase another in 2 years when this one wears out.

« Be very careful with headset (Bad Battery Life) »
I was very pleased with this headset, until it was about 1 year old.
(It had its minor problems, falling out of ear, not loud enough, but I was still very pleased with it.)
(I usually used it as a mono headset for my phone, and once in while as stereo headset.)

So.... At a about a year, the unit would no longer charge. It just flashed red, when plugged into the charger.

So after a month a two, I finally found the paperwork, to relize it had a ONE Year Warranty, but by this time it was too late.

I called customer service and stated my problem, and was pushed to the sales department to buy the NEXT greatest stereo headset they offered. I was thoroughly disgusted with the offer which was not much better than any standard purchse online. They did NOT try to keep me as a customer. All they did was say they were sorry for the current headset.
(Also, with this "DEAL" they were giving me, I had to return the faulty headset, which I expect they'll refurbish by replacing the battery and re-selling.)

So, unless you plan on buying a new headset every time the warranty runs out, DON'T buy this headset. (Read the online forums about this headset. Many people complain about the same flashing red-light, while charging issue. And also about poor battery life, where the headset must be replaced every 1-2 years.)
