Hay - It's a battery. The old one would hold a charge for a few hours at best. Now it's like a new phone.

this battery works great. My old battery was in need of replacing as I was only getting 10 min tops before it would shut off. After I put in this one I can get up to three days before it needs charging, and it could probably go longer, but I need my phone.

This is the same exact battery that was in my Treo 650. When I called Verizon, they wanted $39.95, and they would have to order it. Works as expected--like the original.

I'm fairly happy with the Treo- although have had a few snafu with it. It was a major purchase for me & was sort of put off by having some of the manufacturing problems that I have encountered, early battery replacement being only one of them
